    ORIGINAL REQUEST:
    https://www.endlesshorizon.net/threads/request-how-to-make-a-request-thread.27/

As requested by iRCinfinity, this thread is to act as a guide and example on how the guides and requests should work, anyone not following these rules will either have their threads edited, deleted, locked, or moved.

When creating a request, go to the request sub-forum located here, and make a new thread. Type your request in as the title of your thread and post any specifics you may need within the body, if you do not do this then you may not get a full answer. After making your thread just check back on it every now and again to see if someone has fulfilled your request, however, do not bump it. With our currently limited community and the amount of knowledge everyone has, there may not always be someone who can create a guide for you. Please be patient, it will eventually get sorted.

When creating a guide, copy and paste the original request at the top of your thread then list who requested it and what your guide is to accomplish. Afterwards list all of the steps involved in a detailed and polite manner. Once you complete and post your guide, copy and paste the link to your thread as a reply to the original request thread. Afterwards a staff member will lock the request thread to show everyone that the guide is completed.

You should also be sure to follow all of the tutorial rules located here. Also, please do not post links to a guide outside of our website, this will not be tolerated as our tutorials are custom tailored to fit each individual's needs. Your thread and/or post will be deleted if you break this rule.

Thanks me! But you didn't explain the colored tags before the posts, can you elaborate on that as well?

Of course, me, simply put whenever an admin sees that a request has been fulfilled they will mark it with the "Completed" tag, and if it's been denied for any reason it will be marked "Rejected", or if someone posts saying they're working on the guide then it will be marked "Ongoing".

And if you're in the guide section you may notice the "Verified" tag, these are guides that an admin has researched and believe it to be of high quality and a trustworthy source. These guides often come from those who have made guides many times and are always thorough, or those who are already trustworthy such as an admin. Having a verified guide gives people the knowledge that they can trust it and you.

Also you may have noticed that the request thread was locked, but this thread was not. That is so the original poster and and any one else who may have further questions can ask and hopefully get their questions answered. The guide thread will only be locked upon the guide/request maker asking an admin to do so and giving a valid reason, or if an admin deems it necessary for any reason.
